Project Overview

Explorate began as a research project, exploring collaboration across international lines during the pandemic. This project was completed start-to-finish entirely remote, with designers and researchers from over 7 countries; This project was proposed and led by native residents of New Delhi.

Explorate provides guardians of children aged 6 to 10 residing in New Delhi, India with the tools necessary to facilitate practical, hands-on learning alongside India’s conventional education system. 

We believe that an education system that stifles creativity is one that simultaneously suppresses innovation and strips young students of a passion for learning. By providing interactive, activity-based lesson plans based within the user’s local community, Explorate aims to cultivate an educational environment wherein young students’ creativity and enthusiasm for explorative learning can shine.
